I have heard that this is a great way to generate traffic to whatever site you want. I haven't done any advertising using this method because it seems so time consuming or out of reach for me.
I think I just need to take it one step at a time. Sign up for one Social Networking site and build a decent profile and start interacting with people. Then once that is up and running I can go to another Social Networking site and create another profile and get that one up and running.
It will probably take some time to get them up and running, but if they are done right it can be some great long-term and residual advertising.
What Social Networking sites have worked the best for you?
