Warmth That Doesn't Come From The Glow Of The Computer Screen

WOW! Warm weather!

It is the middle of June and this is the first Sunny Day I have seen here in Portland, Oregon in about two months. It's actually above 60 Degrees! This has been a very odd year weather-wise, because it hasn't been very warm at all this Summer and it hasn't followed the weather pattern that Portland has followed the last 10 years.

I remember 6 or 7 years ago I was on Spring Break at the end of March and it was not colder than 80 Degrees for 2 STRAIGHT WEEKS! So far this year, we haven't had this for more than 2 WHOLE DAYS! It's quite odd and I haven't figured it out.

For the last few months I have had a Winter mentality, and just as a side note, I am not too fond of the rainy cold weather to begin with, so I was feeling a bit out of my groove. Then today I perked up. I felt the sun rejuvenate me and I felt my eyes pop open a little bit more, I stood a little straighter, I walked a little faster, and overall, i just felt a little better.

Another sign was that I woke up, wired, at 6:30 this morning. I only do that when it is really nice weather or it is going to be really nice weather (It's kind of a weird 6th sense with me), so I had a good feeling about today from the get-go!

Anyways, I'm gonna go enjoy the sunshine because who knows when it will decide to poke it's big head out again!
